Tailored solutions

We’ve been doing this for over 10 years, and we’ve worked with schemes ranging from 1 to 8,200 members. That means we’ve got the experience required to develop the right solution, no matter how big or small the de-risking exercise.

We know how to deploy the right number of advisers on each project, which means we’re able to provide members with advice in a timely fashion. This also means that each adviser quickly builds up substantial experience – which in turn helps improves members’ experiences and outcomes.

Highly qualified professionals

We only use qualified Pension Transfer Specialists, all of whom are Level 4 diploma holders with a relevant pension transfer qualification (either G60, AF3 or AF7 or equivalent). They have experience of dealing with transfers from less than £1,000 to £2.9 million, so they really know what they’re talking about.

But it’s not just about technical knowledge and qualifications. We believe it’s important to recruit people who understand our ethos, who seek to understand a member's retirement needs and are good communicators.

Member education

We understand that it’s really important to make sure members understand the advice process and the options available to them. That’s why member education is a vital part of any de-risking exercise.

We’re always careful to provide the right mix of member communications to meet the needs of each specific scheme. Our websites and other materials are clearly laid out and written in 'plain English'. Where appropriate, we use different types of communications to support understanding.

Delivering a great member experience

Ultimately, we know that giving the member the best possible experience is everything. Not only does it gain the trust of the member, it also protects the reputation of the organisation and the trustees.
